Gator Information Technologies Inc. has developed a premier project management software system called Acteo. This system is not only more comprehensive, but also significantly more end-user oriented than other products currently available. The current market for project management software is dominated by Microsoft (with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel), but some key customer needs are not being adequately met by this and other major products.
Acteo is the first project management software tool of its kind, as typical users would have to purchase between 3 and 5 stand alone software applications in order to meet the capabilities offered by the single Acteo application.
The software is currently tailored for construction and building design related industries, but can also be revised to accommodate the needs of clients in other industries.
Distribution of Acteo relies on a series of authorized resellers operating in non-exclusive territories. Distribution agreements are 100% commission-based. Authorized resellers currently receive a commission on the sale of the Acteo program and any additional service packages.
